Getting to partner with them on this Capsule Collection is a genuine full-circle moment for us, and we couldn't be more stoked to bring it to life together.
WE ASKED LAND ABOUT THEIR INSPIRATION FOR THIS CAPSULE COLLECTION:
Texas to California. Mythology of the southwest and the spirit of wildness that still lives in the canyons, prairies, highlands and dunes. Nature is everything. The jaguar, the toad, the burro. Symbols of mystery and beauty, migration and guardians of nature. Connections.
WHAT MADE WELD THE RIGHT PARTNER FOR THIS?
I don't remember what year I first connected with WELD, but it I remember they reached out and introduced themselves and this new idea of taking on the task of making accessible blank caps with the option of personal embellishment. I immediately tried them out with Old Pal, a cannabis brand we work closely with. LAND was already making hats with a Texas company, but WELD had cracked the code of lower minimums and were eager to make the process way less of a hassle. It's wild to see how WELD has evolved and flourished. I was only stoked when they threw out the idea to do a capsule with LAND. We even worked with WELD to make our recent Wabi Sabi hats.
