weld x camino caffeino - charleston, sc

It’s a truck, a car, a café—it’s Camino Caffeino. You can find this El Camino cruising the coastline of Charleston, SC, serving coffee from locally roasted beans. Robert bought the ’86 Camino in ’23, brewed a batch of coffee, and drove it to the beach. Camino Caffenio is on a pursuit to slow down and enjoy the ride and we’re stoked to make a custom Camino Caffeino Two-Tone Workhorse Hat to support that mission.

CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT CAMINO CAFFEINO?
Camino Caffeino is a classic car café, serving specialty coffee from the back of a 1986 Chevrolet El Camino. We believe in driving fast, and drinking slow by reminiscing on the good ole' days and enjoying time together with no agenda other than enjoying a good conversation and a tasty cup of coffee. We host pop ups around town and are available for hire for private events and markets.
WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU LOVE ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?
Camino Caffeino started as a retirement dream, until about two years ago when I decided to get started a little early. The inspiration behind it comes from my grandfather. I grew up going to his farm in Kentucky watching him sell tomatoes out the back of his El Camino and I've always wanted to have a Camino of my own and do something similar. I love coffee and I love surfing, so serving coffee on the coast is a bit of a dream come true.
WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO GET STARTED?
Honestly, I just love meeting new people and hearing their stories. The Camino has a way of pulling good stories out of people. I don't know if it's the nostalgia people feel when they see it or the unexpected sight of someone serving coffee from the bed of a car/truck, but I've met some really cool people over a cup of coffee from it all.
